Welcome to the website of Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam and Frontrunners Amsterdam. We are an athletics club with over sixty members and we train every Wednesday evening (Amsterdam East) and Friday evening (Olympic Stadium). Running is our core business but we also organize clinics in the field of athletics and triathlon and you can also come to us for fitness walking. Running with Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam means improving your running skils and condition. You can practice with guidance of professional coaches, get more opportunities to take part in runs, and of course: nice parties. Rainbow Athletics Amsterdam is the Athletics club for LHBTIQ+ community in The Netherlands and is based in Amsterdam. Pink Run and Pride Run Twice a year sportive gays and lesbians come to meet and run at the Pink Run, around Kings Day at the end of April, and the Pride Run, on Fridays at the Gay Pride weekend, which is in the first weekend of August.
